A snowy engagement session was not exactly what Betsy and Eric had planned for when we worked together last fall, but they embraced the crazy morning – and I’m so glad they did! These two joined me for a quick morning this past October fully expecting a simple, sunrise shoot, and like usual, Minnesota had a different plan for them! I woke up and saw the snow coming down so fast, and the entire drive over to Andover had me questioning if it was going to work or not! However, pulling up to the park, these two were so eager to work with it, and it made for some of the cutest, snow-filled photos ever!
Betsy and Eric also brought their dog along to snap a few photos with her, and she also had a different agenda that day. While you certainly can’t tell by all the running around she did, she was in the middle of recovering for a prior surgery, and was supposed to be laying low for a bit. But she obviously was also feeling the excitement that came with all this new snow, and she was hopping around so much that she threw herself into a puking fit. She was alright in the end, but it certainly made us work quickly – and made this session even more memorable.
Despite all the craziness of the morning, this session was one of my favorites from last fall. These two were the sweetest, and that is so apparent throughout the photos we created. While it certainly wasn’t planned, I’m sure they can both agree with me that we wouldn’t have had it any other way — maybe sans dog puke, but you get what I mean. 🙂
