I lead with connection, holding true to your intention to create a legacy that will last and last. I’m here for a day that is centered on you!
There’s a story behind your love. There’s a long, winding path that brought you two together. I know there’s so much more to your connection than could ever be communicated. But in our time together I want to get a peek inside your narrative. I want to dive as deep as I can into your uniqueness.
One last thing. I’m St. Paul, Minnesota based, but no distance is too far. Just inquire if you’re planning a destination wedding or elopement. Also, I lean toward intimate Minnesota weddings and elopements but if we click and you like my style, I’m really just here for the day of your dreams, whatever shape that takes.
My approach is creative and bold, emphasizing authenticity by documenting moments honestly. Every person or couple who gets in front of my camera has a unique story, and I intend to document everything with that focus at the center.
I focus on connection and moments rather than forcing poses. I give direction to pull out emotions rather than pushing you to re-enact something from the internet. I want this to be a unique experience, whether you have been photographed before or not.
A huge part of my approach is to keep things natural and conversational. I direct and offer support throughout the entire process, give light direction and cues when needed, and let your true selves shine. I will create trust between us and let your personality
come through.
It's been 7 years! I've been lucky to work with so many incredible people over that time.
Oh, absolutely! I've had the pleasure of seeing it all at weddings and sessions. I can imagine this is your first time planning anything like this, so I'm always willing to help along the way. Anything from vendor referrals, outfit ideas, lighting recommendations, to helping create wedding stationary – I'm always a resource for you!
First, the most important thing to remember is to keep the day true to you. Don't let others pressure you to plan your day with anything but you two at the very center. This is your one day, so do it your way.
Second, lighting is so important. When finding a venue (or planning spots at your venue), remember that photography is all about light. I have plenty of recommendations on how to plan around lighting, so it's always helpful to be looped into the planning process early on. Reach out, and we can make your day magical! There are tons of other tips like this I've learned along the way that I've put together in a planning guide for couples. Ask me about it, and I'll get it sent over when you're ready to plan!
1-2 weeks for family and couples sessions. 4-6 weeks for weddings. (6-8 weeks during busy season!)
Absolutely! After working together, you are free to print yourself using the print release I send over at the end of our time together. The galleries that are sent to you that house your images are also set up to print if you'd like me to process your prints. Reach out with any questions you have about printing!
This depends on a lot of different factors, but below are the averages you can expect for the type of shoot you work with me for.
Weddings: 600-1200+
Couples: 100-150+
Families: 50-75+
No need to worry, though. I never leave out meaningful moments when I'm delivering your galleries, so you can expect to see everything documented the way it unfolds during our time together.
I absolutely try to get a sneak peek from our sessions within 72 hours of working together. I know how exciting it is to see everything, so watch your emails for a surprise!
Reach out to me here and let's get a chat on the calendar. Once you're ready to book, I require a 30% retainer and a signed contract to reserve your date.
Of course! I’m based out of St.Paul, Minnesota, but no distance is too far! Reach out if your destination is outside of MN!
Every destination has its own unique set of cost, so my travel fees are variable depending on where you’re going. I generally only have you cover the costs of roundtrip flights, stay, and a rental car. If a rental car isn’t necessary, I just take Ubers or public transportation to and from
the location and have you reimburse me.
I do prefer to book my own flights and transportation, with your approval. You’re more than welcome to book my stay, especially if it’s in a hotel. Airbnb is generally easier to have me book since the information the host will share will be sent directly to me to prepare for my arrival!
We work together during the process to get your approval on the price and logistics before booking anything. This way, there are no surprise costs on your end! I will send an invoice to you once everything is purchased, with a due date of about a week!
There are a ton of different variables that can be factored in when figuring out estimated costs – season we’re in, timeframe we book the flights, etc. You can estimate by checking Airbnb/Hotel costs in the area we will be staying, and seeing how much roundtrip flights are from the Twin Cities (MSP) to the destination. Rental cars typically run about $30-50 per day, or less when booked in advance.
You’re not alone! I’ve had so many clients tell me that they are awkward having their photo taken— even the ones who seem completely natural.
I make the process a conversation, not a transaction. I make it an adventure, a journey. I get to know you and learn what makes you unique in a casual, communication-based shooting style. We won’t pretend like it’s candid and fake laughs, I make it warm, fun and energetic, but also intimate and authentic.
And I can be flexible and adaptable. Need me to talk your ear off to distract you? Can do. I can also be quiet and just turn up the music. I can watch from afar and make you forget I’m even there, or I can give you all the direction you want.
I do not give out un-edited images as this is where the magic really happens. This is where my art + style comes alive, and I will always deliver the high resolution images. Believe me, you don’t want RAW images!
Nope! I do not photoshop my photos unless I absolutely need to, but that’s generally to get something out of the photo, like random people walking around behind your photos or a distraction in the background.
I’m not a personal trainer or magician, and I certainly don’t change your appearance. I want to focus on making you feel beautiful, rather than look unrealistic. So no, I don’t Photoshop your bodies to appear different than they actually are. Yes, I clear up skin and remove distractions. Yes, I’ll Photoshop a couple lightsabers in if you really want (but, I can’t promise it will look the best though haha).
I do not offer discounts, but I am always willing to talk with couples about their budgets to see how best we can work together to document your day.
I’m always watching to see how the weather might look when we work together, and I often encourage embracing whatever the weather ends up being like. As a seasoned photographer, I’ve seen a full array of weather for shoots, and it often adds a lot of fun to our time together.
However, if it is truly wild and just not safe for all of us — we can work together to reschedule or postpone!
1000% yes! Whatever the animal, it is welcome at our shoots! I know how important pets & animals are to our lives, and I think they can make our time together so fun!
During a wedding day, a first look is the opportunity for the couple to see each other after being apart most of the morning. It’s a time to hug, have a moment — just the two of them.
Generally, a first look is full of emotions, so I like to let couples have lots of space to just take it all in before the hustle of the day begins. Often, this can be the only time that the couple will spend alone the entire day, and also is a great time to get additional couple portraits. Having a first look can also open up your timeline a bit by knocking out family and/or wedding party photos prior to the ceremony. This allows you to go into your reception just celebrating with all your friends and family!
From experience, I think a first look fosters more emotion, allows for less pressure during the day, and much is more intimate. It creates more peace and relaxation before the day really begins, and makes the timeline more flexible by allowing more wiggle room throughout the day, and more photos! Who doesn’t love that? Lastly, you’ll receive more photos of you and your love.

Unplugged ceremonies are when you ask your guests to be fully present by turning off all phones and electronic devices. This is something I often recommend to everyone. These distractions can sometimes get in the way of important moments during the ceremony, and you don’t want moments getting ruined. Since you’re hiring a professional to document this all, this allows your guest to just be present! It’s always a good idea! You will thank me later.
