Calli, Grant and I spent an evening last fall at Theodore Wirth Park for their engagement session. It was right before the weather took a turn, so we took full advantage of the last few moments of sun and spent them laughing about what fun the next year had in store for them.We took nearly two hours to sift through the nuances of their relationship, and let it all sink in that within the next year they’d officially be husband and wife. I spoke with Calli over the phone yesterday to finalize details for their wedding, and above all you I could just feel the excitement she had for finally coming close to their wedding day.
In chatting with them during our session, it was easy to see that these two were truly made for each other. The synchrony they shared showed through their intense thoughtfulness, compassion and true care for each other, and its so easy to see that in every photo we took!
The amount of people around at this park was insane. Everywhere you turned there was bike after bike zooming past our sight – yet, it’s safe to say these two didn’t even notice anyone else. That is something I hope every couple can experience, and it was so special to witness that!
Calli is also celebrating her birthday today, so be sure to show her some love if you haven’t already!
